NEW YORK (AP) — Angela Stanford was introduced Thursday as the next U.S. captain of the Solheim Cup, leading a young core of Americans who are coming off a victory and will try to win the cup overseas for the first time in more than a decade. Stanford was on the last American team that won away from home, in 2015 in Germany when Juli Inkster was at the helm. Former assistant coach charged with hacking for athletes’ intimate photos

DETROIT (AP) — Former NFL and University of Michigan assistant football coach Matt Weiss hacked into the computer accounts of thousands of college athletes seeking intimate photos and videos, according to an indictment filed Thursday. Weiss, who worked for the Baltimore Ravens before joining Michigan’s staff in 2021, was charged with 14 counts of unauthorized computer access and 10 counts of identity theft. BEREA, Ohio (AP) — Offensive lineman Teven Jenkins signed with the Cleveland Browns on Thursday. Jenkins, who will be entering his fifth NFL season in 2025, spent the past four years with Chicago. He was a second-round pick by the Bears in 2021 and appeared in 45 games at left tackle, left guard and right guard, including 38 starts. He started 14 games at left guard last season.
