SARAH ELIZABETH Exten of Mansfield, Ohio and First Lieutenant Jeffrey Gordon Mussman of Cincinnati were united in marriage in an outdoor wedding with reception immediately following the ceremony, on May 7, 2011 at Caerphilly Farm in Bellville, Ohio.
Parents of the bride are Dr. and Mrs. Robert Exten of Mansfield. Mrs. Exten is the former Deborah Albright of Shadyside. Maternal grandparents are Mr. and Mrs. David (Elsa) Albright Sr. of Shadyside.
Parents of the groom are Mr. and Mrs. George Mussman of Cincinnati and the late Jill Mussman.
Katherine Exten was maid of honor and Michael Melfi was the best man. Other attendants were: Jennifer Exten-Kennedy, Emily Exten, Katie Gardner, Laura Frasher, Jennifer (Mussman) Clark, Catherine (Mussman) Neagle, Sara Clark, Mia Clark, Lexie Paul, Mark Mussman, George Mussman, Jerad Allen and David Kennedy. The bride’s sister, Molly Amanda Exten, attended via Skype from Russia.
The bride is a 2002 graduate of Mansfield Senior High School and a 2006 graduate of Ohio State with a bachelor of arts degree in English and a minor in Italian. She received her law degree from the Moritz School of Law at Ohio State University.
Her husband graduated from Walnut Hills High School in 1996. He is a 2001 graduate of the University of Cincinnati with a bachelor of science degree in chemistry, and a 2005 graduate of the Moritz School of Law. He is currently enrolled in the JAGS Reserve program.
The couple recently opened the Mussman Law Office in Bellville, Ohio.
