At 9:29 p.m. Thursday, units responded to a report of domestic trouble at an address in Bridgeport. A caller was reportedly assaulted by her husband and was able to go to her neighbor’s house to call 911. At 7:52 p.m. Thursday, deputies on a special detail were at an address on Blaine-Chermont Road in Bridgeport with a woman who was getting her property out of the house. Buckeye Local Junior High School is observing Red Ribbon Week

CONNORVILLE —The Buckeye Local Junior High School Student Council is observing Red Ribbon Week to bring attention to the effects of drug, alcohol and tobacco use. Activities are set throughout the week of Oct. 27-31 and include themed dress-up days and regular highlights to help spread awareness among youth.
