Madelyn “Mattie” Bigler of Shadyside, formerly of Armstrong Mills and Powhatan, passed away on Monday, June 12, 2023 in WVU Wheeling Hospital. She was born March 21, 1946 in Belmont County, a daughter of the late Delbert and Florence (Wallace) Ward. Mattie was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother, sister, and aunt. She was a friend to many. She was a member of the Captina Chapter #489 order of the Eastern Stars.
