Leon Leonard Lieser, 76, of Martins Ferry, passed away on Friday, November 18, 2022, in East Ohio Regional Hospital. He was born in Freeport, IL on September 19, 1946, a son of the late William and Cecilia (Engle) Lieser. Leon was a member of The Experience Church, served his country in the United States Marine Corps and was retired from the Century Mining Company. She was born in Jacobsburg, Ohio, April 27, 1922, a daughter of the late Robert Franklin Hammond Sr. and Leanna Agnes Johnson Hammond. Mary was a loving mother, grandmother and great grandmother. She was born on May 6, 1929 in Woodsfield, Ohio, daughter of Anna Lee Duvall Jackson and Jack Duvall. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Allen Shepherd.
