Thomas and Denise Myers of Belmont announce the engagement of their daughter, Alexandra Leigh, to Patrick Tatarzyn, son of Richard and MaryAnn Tatarzyn of McKeesport, Pa.

The bride-to-be is a 2006 graduate of St. Clairsville High School and 2010 graduate of Duquesne University, with a bachelor of arts degree in broadcast journalism and public relations and advertising. She is employed as an e-commerce content coordinator at Dick’s Sporting Goods, headquartered in Pittsburgh.

Her fiance is a 2005 graduate of Serra Catholic High School and 2007 graduate of PTI with a degree in criminal justice. He is employed as an Allegheny County correctional officer in Pittsburgh.

An October wedding is planned.
