JOE AND Cathy Rohrig of Wheeling announce the engagement of their daughter, Maria Ann to Derrick VanDyke, son of Randy and Sheila VanDyke of The Plains, Ohio.

The bride-to-be is a graduate of the University of Pittsburgh with a masters of business administration degree and from Case Western Reserve University with a bachelor of science degree in management. She is employed with MedExpress Urgent Care.

Her fiance is a graduate of Ohio University with a bachelor degree of science in industrial technology. He is employed with GE Hitachi Nuclear.

A spring wedding is being planned.
