RANDY AND Kim Davia of Cadiz announce the engagement of their daughter, Jessica Linn, to Derek Bruce Madzia, son of Phil and Barb Madzia, also of Cadiz.

The bride-to-be is a 2001 graduate of Harrison Central High School. She graduated in 2006 from Bowling Green State University with a bachelor of science degree in middle childhood education and received her master’s degree in 2010. She is employed by the Union Local School District as a math teacher.

Her fiance is a 1999 graduate of Cadiz High School. He attended Ohio University Eastern and is employed by the Village of Cadiz and the Harrison Hills City School District as a baseball and basketball coach.

A June 15 wedding is planned.
