Rodney and Brenda Wallner of Bellaire announce the engagement of their son, Derek Allan, to Brianna Noel Pauley, daughter of Greg and Nancy Pauley of Canfield, Ohio.

The bride-elect graduated from Kent State University with a bachelor’s degree in psychology and the University of Maryland with a bachelor’s degree in computer science. She is employed as a buyer with Honda of America.

Her fiance is a graduate of Youngstown State University with a bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering. He is employed as a controls engineer with UC Synergetic.

The couple will be married July 2 in Nags Head, N.C.
