John and Linda Schumacher of Harrisville announce the engagement of their daughter, Angel Marie, to John Paul Grandstaff, son of David and Melinda Grandstaff of New Martinsville.

The bride-to-be is a 2003 graduate of Buckeye Local High School and a 2006 graduate of Trinity School of Nursing with a diploma in nursing. She is a registered nurse at Grady Memorial Hospital in Delaware, Ohio.

Her fiance is a 1993 graduate of Magnolia High School and 1999 graduate of West Virginia University with a bachelor of science degree in nursing. He is employed as a member of the emergency response team at The Ohio State Wexner Medical Center.

A Sept. 14 wedding is being planned.
