MARK AND Melanie Cook of Barnesville announce the engagement of their daughter, Brittany Lynn, to Anthony Francis, son of David and Cynthia Reasbeck of Martins Ferry.

The bride-to-be is a 2004 graduate of Barnesville High School, a 2008 graduate of West Virginia University with a bachelor of science degree in speech pathology and audiology and a 2010 graduate of West Virginia University with a master’s degree in speech pathology. She is employed by Wheeling Hospital as a speech language pathologist.

Her fiance is a 2004 graduate of Martins Ferry High School and a 2009 graduate of Ohio University with a bachelor of science degree in education. He received a master’s degree in special education through West Virginia University. He is employed by Martins Ferry City School District as a high school intervention specialist and head baseball coach.

A June 14 wedding is planned.
