Michael and Karen Grigaitis of St. Clairsville announce the engagement of their daughter Leanne Michelle to Brent Michael, son of Kelley and Joyce Boring of Rayland.

The bride-elect is a 2002 graduate of St. Clairsville High School, and a 2006 and 2011 graduate of The University of Akron with bachelor of arts degrees in sociology/criminology and social work. She received a master of social work degree in 2013 from The University of Akron. She is currently employed as a licensed social worker/therapist at Solutions Behavioral Healthcare in Medina, Ohio.

Her fiance is a 2002 graduate of Buckeye Local High School, and a 2007 graduate of The University of Akron with a bachelor of science degree in mechanical engineering. He also received his master of business administration degree from The University of Akron in 2011. He is currently employed as a project manager at The Babcock and Wilcox Company in Barberton, Ohio.

A May 10 wedding is planned.
