CARRIE J. Talkington and Andrew J. Chesonis, together with their families, announce their engagement.

The bride-to-be is the daughter of Bill and Sandy Talkington of Moundsville. She is a graduate of John Marshall High School and attended Bethany College. She is a manager with Choice Hotels.

Her fiance is the son of Joe and Shannon Chesonis of Martins Ferry. He is a graduate of Martins Ferry High School and Ohio Peace Officers Training Academy. He is a journeyman with Laborer’s Local 149 and a patrolman with Yorkville Police Department.

An October wedding is planned.
