Robert and Carrie Winiesdorffer of St. Clairsville announce the engagement of their daughter, Samantha Jo Winiesdorffer, to Matthew Jerome Amway, son of Pamela Amway and the late Stan Amway of Sandusky, Ohio.

The bride-to-be is a 2005 graduate of St. Clairsville High School, and a 2009 graduate of Ohio University with a bachelor’s degree in exercise physiology with minors in dance performance and psychology. She also received a doctorate in physical therapy from Ohio University in 2012. She is employed at The Ohio State University Sports Medicine and Rehabilitation, specializing in performing arts medicine.

Her fiance is a 2002 graduate of St. Mary’s Central Catholic High School in Sandusky, Ohio, and a 2007 graduate of The Ohio State University with a bachelor’s degree in exercise science. He also received a doctorate in physical therapy from Ohio University in 2011. He is employed at The Ohio State University Sports Medicine and Rehabilitation.

An Oct. 4 wedding is planned in Columbus, Ohio.
