Landy and Karen Hobbs of Wheeling, announce the engagement of their daughter, Katie Hobbs, to James Wallace, son of Terry and Carol Wallace of Bellaire.

The bride-to-be is a 2008 graduate of The Linsly School in Wheeling and a 2012 graduate of Bethany College. She also earned her master’s degree from Wheeling Jesuit University in 2014.

Her fiance is a 2003 graduate of Linsly and a 2008 graduate of Bethany College. He earned his master’s degree from Muskingum University in 2014.

Both teach and coach at Linsly and reside on campus.

A July wedding is planned at Oglebay Park.
