Mr. and Mrs. Mark A. Knuth of Wheeling announce the engagement of their daughter, Amy Marie Knuth, to Zachary Allen Compston, son of Ms. Julie Compston of Winter Springs, Fla. and Mr. and Mrs. Larry Compston of Belmont.

The bride-to-be is a 2006 graduate of Wheeling Central Catholic High School, a 2010 graduate of Wheeling Jesuit University with a bachelor of science degree in respiratory therapy and a 2012 graduate of Wheeling Jesuit University with a doctorate in physical therapy. She is a physical therapist specializing in lymphedema management at The Ohio State University James Comprehensive Breast Center in Columbus, Ohio.

Her fiance is a 2006 graduate of Union Local High School, a 2010 graduate of Capital University Columbus, Ohio, with a bachelor of music degree in jazz studies and a 2012 graduate of Indiana University with a master in music degree in percussion. He is employed at the Jazz Arts Group as Director of Education and Community Engagement in Columbus, Ohio.

A May wedding is planned.
