Mr. and Mrs. Carl Carpenter of Dillonvale announce the engagement of their daughter, Kelsey Michelle Carpenter, to James Joseph Voithofer, son of Joe and Theresa Voithofer of Morgantown, W.Va.

The bride-to-be is a 2005 graduate of Martins Ferry High School, a 2009 graduate of Walsh University with a bachelor’s degree in middle childhood education and a 2014 graduate of West Liberty University with a master’s degree in special education. She is employed by Martins Ferry City Schools as a 7th grade intervention specialist.

Her fiance is a 2003 graduate of Morgantown High School, a 2007 graduate of Allegheny College with a bachelor’s degree in economics and a 2010 graduate of West Virginia University with a master’s degree in business administration and a juris doctor. He is employed as a law clerk for the U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the Northern District of West Virginia.

A June wedding is planned.
