Jody and Darlene Hoffman of St. Clairsville join with Tom and Linda Harriz of Simpsonville, S.C. in announcing the engagement of Greggory T. Hoffman to Rachel L. Harriz.

The bride-to-be is a graduate of Hillcrest High School and a 2011 graduate of Furman University with a bachelor of arts degree in religion.

Her fiance is a graduate of St. Clairsville High School and a 2012 graduate of West Liberty University with a bachelor of science degree in psychology.

The couple are completing their third of four years at the Lutheran Theological Southern Seminary in South Carolina, following their calls to witness their Christian faith as ordained Lutheran ministers.

A summer wedding is planned.
