Robert and Barbara Poch of Shadyside announce the engagement of their daughter, Marianne Michelle Poch, to Gregory Phillip Crocker, son of Phillip and Sandra Crocker of Fishers, Ind.

The bride-elect is a 1998 graduate of Shadyside High School and a 2003 graduate of The Ohio State University with a bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science and Engineering. She received a master of Business Administration degree from Xavier University in 2010. She is employed as a software engineering major with Northrup Grumman in Cincinnati, Ohio.

Her fiance is a 1997 graduate of Lawrence North High School in Indianapolis, Ind. He obtained a bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering from Purdue University in 2001 and a master of science degree in computer engineering from Wright State University in 2007. He is employed as the manager of system engineering at Northrup Grumman in Cincinnati, Ohio.

A Sept. 3 wedding is planned.
