50th wedding anniversary

Mr. and Mrs. Larry Garlinger are celebrating their 50th wedding anniversary. They were united in marriage on April 28, 1973, at Brentwood United Methodist Church, Wintersville. Larry is the son of the late Mr. and Mrs. Chuck Garlinger of Smithfield. Susan is the daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. James Stephen of Wintersville. They are proud parents of two children, Nicole and Larry Todd Garlinger. They are blessed with nine grandchildren.

Ramp dinner and dance to be held

MOUNDSVILLE – Grand Vue Park welcomes the public to The Marshall County Ramp Dinner and Dance on May 6, sponsored by USI Insurance. The event is free to attend and begins at 4 p.m. at the big red barn. Ramps are known as wild leeks, which are native to West Virginia. MOUNDSVILLE — Blazing Stories comes to Grand Vue Park in Moundsville at 7 p.m. Wednesday at Shelter 1 (the Zipline Base Camp), beside the Aerial Adventure Park. Jerry’s Walk — Illuminating Suicide Awareness, a nonprofit organization dedicated to suicide prevention and awareness, will host its seventh annual Suicide Awareness Walk on Sunday, April 30, at St. Clairsville-Richland Township Memorial Park.
