Tara Michelle Denton and Jason Alan Ritchie were united in marriage March 1, 2014 at 5 p.m. at Oak Tree Manor Bed and Breakfast in Spring, Texas, with Pastor Daniel Slagle officiating. The bride was escorted by her father.

The bride is the daughter of Dayton Denton Jr. and Dana Denton of The Woodlands, Texas. The groom is the son of Mark and Michel Ritchie of Rayland.

Katie Tedesco served as the maid of honor, and Jeremy Jones served as best man. Other attendants were Chuck Turberville, Kristin Chambers, Adam Esparza, Kristen Verderber, Nicholas Reiter, Jennifer Ritchie, Brad Shockman and Liz Wagner.

Following the ceremony, an outdoor reception was held at Oak Tree Manor in Spring, Texas.

The bride is a 1999 graduate of The Woodlands High School, a 2003 graduate of Villanova University with a bachelor of business administration in finance and a 2008 graduate of The University of Oklahoma with a master of business administration. She is employed as a global finance manager at Momentive Performance Materials in Friendly, W.Va.

Her husband is a 2003 graduate of Buckeye Local High School and a 2007 graduate of Marietta College with a bachelor of science degree in petroleum engineering. He is employed as a Drillings and Completions Engineer at Artex Oil Company in Marietta, Ohio.

The couple spent their honeymoon in Maui and on the Big Island of Hawaii, and currently resides in Marietta, Ohio.
