KATELYN MICHELLE Tierney and Adam Keene Begley were united in marriage on Sept. 6, 2014, at St. John Church in Bellaire. The Rev. Thomas Magary officiated and the Rev. Dan Heusel concelebrated the double ring ceremony.

Parents of the bride are Kevin and Kim Tierney of Martins Ferry. Parents of the groom are Mark and Melissa Begley of Maineville, Ohio.

Andrea Babcock served as matron of honor, Kristine Tierney served as maid of honor and Mark Burgess served as best man. Other attendants included Samantha Moore, Tyler Carver, Lacey Voss, Alicia Palmer, Kelly Kandah, Matt Begley, Chris Begley, Craig McCarty, Brad Morgan and Jordan Ehni. Maksim Adams was the ring bearer, and Gina Bernardo and Alyssa Calagna were the readers.

Following the ceremony, a reception was held at Glessner Hall in Oglebay Park.

The bride is a 2005 graduate of St. John Central High School and a 2011 graduate of the University of Cincinnati with a bachelor of science degree in design. She is employed as a designer for American Eagle Outfitters Corporation of New York.

Her husband is a 2005 graduate of King’s High School in Kings Mills, Ohio, and a 2010 graduate of the University of Cincinnati with a bachelor of science degree in electrical engineering. He is employed as a manufacturing electrical engineer for Sirona Dental Inc. in Long Island City.

After a honeymoon in Hawaii, the couple reside in Brooklyn, N.Y.
