Lauren Rebecca Hinzey and Daniel Charles O’Malley were united in marriage Aug. 23, 2014, at 1:30 p.m. in the Cathedral of St. Joseph Catholic Church, Wheeling, W.Va., with the Rev. Edward F. Upton, Chicago, as celebrant of the nuptial mass. The bride was escorted by her father.

Parents of the bride are Gregory and Marla Hinzey of St. Clairsville. Parents of the groom are Michael and Marjorie O’Malley of Bel Air, Md.

Courtney Tazar Holcombe was matron of honor and Michael O’Malley and Jonathan O’Malley were best men. Other attendants were Heather Forshey, Elaine Koontz Hinzey, Kathy Jo Kelich, Jade Mainello, Alison Baugh Newell, Jaclyn Zavatsky West, David Christensen, Nathan Forshey and Alana Holcombe. Ring bearers were Grayson Mainello and Michael O’Malley. Readers were Amber O’Malley and Jason Tazar and gift bearers were Cathy Gronemier and Jay Tazar. Organist was Dr. Zvonimir Nagy and cantor was David O’Connell. Program and bubble attendants were Matthew Spezia and Megan and Casey Zuzak.

A wedding reception was held at Glessner Auditorium, Oglebay Park.

The bride is a 2003 graduate of St. Clairsville High School and a 2007 graduate of Penn State University with bachelor of arts degees in history and political science. She received her juris doctor degree in 2010 from Duquense University of Law. She is employed as a family law attorney at the Raleigh Divorce Law Firm in Raleigh, NC.

The groom is a 2003 graduate of Bel Air High School and a 2007 graduate of Juniata College with a bachelor of arts degree in political science. He received his juris doctor degree in 2010 from Duquesne University School of Law. He is employed as a criminal and family law attorney at The Law Corner in Raleigh, NC.

Following a honeymoon to Punta Cana, Dominican Republic, the couple resides in Raleigh, NC.
