Making progress on Bethlehem Bridge

Kokosing Construction Company crews continued working this week to replace the concrete deck of the Chapel Road Bridge in Bethlehem, as concrete has been poured on both ends of the span. The 47-year-old bridge, which spans approximately 100 feet above Interstate 470, is scheduled to be closed to traffic through the end of the summer season as the project continues, according to state transportation officials. The detour route is West Bethlehem Boulevard and the nearby Spruce Street Bridge.
