Wheeling police investigating robbery

WHEELING — Wheeling police are investigating a robbery that occurred around 7 p.m. Tuesday at the Woodsdale Marathon Gas Station at 831 National Road.

Employees inside told police that a tall thin black man, possibly in his mid 30s or 40s, wearing a white shirt and dark jeans walked into the store and robbed the clerk. No weapon was displayed. The suspect was last seen running away on Orchard Lane.
