ST. CLAIRSVILLE — Staff at the Ohio State University Extension Office have launched a fall prevention social media campaign.

It began Tuesday, and organizers are encouraging all older adult serving agencies to support their efforts in raising awareness and providing education about falls. The information will be shared on the OSU Extension, Family and Consumer Sciences Facebook page facebook.com/livesmartohio.

Each day of the week there will be a new post centered around a theme, such as Monday Motivation, or why fall prevention is important; Tuesday Tip; Watch it Wednesday videos; True or False Thursday; Fix it or Find it Friday, which touches on hazards in the home; Saturday and Sunday are Share it days.
