Bethlehem Temple to hold another COVID vaccination clinic

The Bethlehem Apostolic Temple will hold its second COVID-19 vaccination drive-thru clinic Saturday from 11 a.m.-1 p.m. at the parking lot of the North Wheeling Community Dream Center, 407 Main St. in Wheeling.

“We believe there is a benefit to having the shots available in your own neighborhood,” the Rev. Darrell Cummings, pastor of the Bethlehem Apostolic Temple, said. “We also believe there is a benefit in doing it as a drive-thru.”

The clinic will be open to tri-state residents ages 12 and older. No rules of residency will be required. Anyone under the age of 18 must be accompanied by a guardian and be able to provide consent and approval.

Attendees may request one of several vaccines available — the one-shot Johnson & Johnson version, along with the two-shot Pfizer and Moderna versions. On the day of the event, at the start of the process, each attendee will need to provide their information prior to the administration of the shot. They will also need to sign a consent release form. Attendees will still be asked to fill out the same paperwork as other clinics, and be asked to wait at least 15 minutes after the administration of the shot in the parking lot before departure. All other safety and health protocols will be followed.

Those with insurance should be covered by it, while others will be covered by the state. The vaccine is free to all.
