GLEN DALE — Tractor Supply is celebrating its newly remodeled store in the city of Glen Dale.

Manager Robin Higginbotham said the remodeling included upgrades to the store’s layout, products and more.

“The new layout for the store, it’s actually more welcoming,” she said. “The aisles are wider and more customer friendly.”

There are also new brands to choose from including in the women’s clothing section, in the truck and trailer aisle, pet, hardware, tools, animal feed and more. There is also a new Customer Service Hub with upgraded digital tools to help customers.

“Tractor Supply has been a company for 85 years. This store in particular has been open since 2008. This was our first remodel; it’s been open for 16 years,” Higginbotham said. “We serve our community and we also partner with our community.”

For example, the store recently helped raise money for a new arena roof at fairgrounds. It also allows vendors to set up at the store occasionally along with Paws For a Cause, which is a spay/neuter program for stray cats. It also hosts mobile veterinary clinics.

Higginbotham noted the Easter Bunny will be on site to visit children from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday. There will also be snacks to eat and coloring pages.

“Come down and check us out and see our great products. Our team will be here to help you find everything you need for your farm or your pet,” she said. “Everybody has a lawn, pretty much, so we have new mowers in.”

A grand reopening of the store remodel is slated April 3-7. It will feature sales throughout the week along with antique tractor and truck displays on Friday-Saturday. There will also be door prizes, giveaways and refreshments.

“We really want to make this an exciting time for the week,” she said. “We know that customers will love these upgrades as much as we do, and we hope to share them with both familiar and new faces from the Glen Dale community.”

Higginbotham noted that people can also bring all kinds of pets to shop with them at the store.

In addition to supplies for farmers, the store also has power tools, fencing, welding, gardening supplies and more.

The Glen Dale Tractor Supply store, at 1607 Wheeling Ave., Glen Dale, is open 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. Monday-Saturday and 9 a.m. to 7 p.m. Sundays. For information on Tractor Supply’s Neighbor’s Club loyalty program, visit NeighborsClub.com.
