BARNESVILLE — The Barnesville Water Department issued a precautionary boil order due to emergency waterline repairs for all service connections on Joe Jefferis Road, Mt. Olivett Road, Fairview Street, Mt. Olivett Road North East (Township Road 174), Mt. Olivett Road North West, Penny Lane, Harry’s Ridge Road, Brad’s Way, Farson Drive, Jackson Street, Neptune Lane, Aries Lane, Church Street, Main Street and the entire Mt. Olivett area or any others experiencing a loss in pressure. This boil advisory remains in effect for 48 hours after service is restored. Water should be boiled vigorously for one minute before human consumption or dental hygiene use. Residents may also notice discoloration and should exercise caution with laundry.
