At 5:40 p.m. Monday, a deputy on a traffic stop on Mercer Road at Ayers Road in Colerain issued a warning to an Ohio motorist for driving left of center.
At 10:35 a.m. Monday, a school resource officer at the Belmont Career Center in St. Clairsville requested a report number for a drug paraphernalia case.
At 7:47 a.m. Monday, a caller from Almar Circle in St. Clairsville reported that someone broke into his vehicle overnight and took a pistol. A deputy responded, and information was taken for a breaking and entering report.
At 7:03 a.m. Monday, a caller from an address on Olde Ridge Lane Extension in St. Clairsville reported that someone broke into a vehicle. Deputies responded and took information.
At 9:16 p.m. Sunday, an officer on a traffic stop on Mall Road in Richland Township issued a warning to an Ohio motorist for a headlight violation.
At 6:41 p.m. Sunday, a caller from an address on Washington Street in Barnesville reported having problems with her neighbor yelling things at her. She was advised on how to obtain a civil protection order.
At 3:17 p.m. Sunday, several officers responded to Fox Run Hospital on Traco Drive in St. Clairsville for a report of juveniles attacking other juveniles and staff members.
At 4:10 a.m. Sunday, an officer on a traffic stop on Interstate 70 west near mile marker 202 in Kirkwood Township issued a warning to an Ohio motorist for traveling outside of marked lanes and for speeding.
At 10:14 p.m. Tuesday, an officer on a traffic stop on Interstate 70 west near mile marker 217 in St. Clairsville issued a warning to a West Virginia truck driver for no rear lights. The driver also locked himself out of the vehicle, and the officer was standing by until he got in, according to the report.
At 10:19 p.m. Tuesday, a caller from Ebbert South Road in St. Clairsville reported that someone broke into two vehicles. Nothing was taken.
At 7:01 p.m. Tuesday, a deputy responded to Belmont-Morristown Road for a report of a motor vehicle accident with property damage only. The officer took information for a crash report.
At 6:37 p.m. Tuesday, deputies were dispatched to an address on Long Run Road in Bethesda for a report of an active domestic. Units from the Bethesda Police Department also responded. One suspect was arrested and transported to the Belmont County Jail.
At 3:16 p.m. Tuesday, officers responded to an address on National Road in Bridgeport for a welfare check. A caller reported that a male was sending her picture of him injuring himself because of a breakup. Officers located the male and reported that he was fine and had resources if he needed them.
At 2:23 p.m. Tuesday, deputies responded to Belle Village Apartments on Patterson Hill Road in Bellaire for a report of vandalism. A caller reported that something was sprayed onto a car.
At 1:29 p.m. Tuesday, a caller reported a motor vehicle accident that occurred the previous week at Union Local Schools on Belmont-Morristown Road. The caller showed a deputy photos of the accident and footage of the incident from security cameras. One truck struck another that was owned by the caller. The complainant stated that she had been trying unsuccessfully to contact the other vehicle owner’s insurance company to proceed with a claim. She was advised by officers to continue to submit evidence to the other vehicle’s insurance company.
At 11:02 a.m. Tuesday, a complainant from an address on Buzz Ayers Road in St. Clairsville submitted an on-line complaint about ordering a pair of pliers off of eBay, and when he received a shipping envelope, it was empty and the merchandise was not inside. The complainant requested a call record so he could give the information about the missing item to eBay.
At 10:41 a.m. Tuesday, a caller from West Street in Holloway reported that someone in a suspicious vehicle appeared to be casing the neighborhood looking at open garages. Information was taken for a call record.
At 10:35 a.m. Tuesday, a caller from Nixon Run Road in Martins Ferry reported that there were pigs in the roadway. A deputy responded and got the pigs back onto the property where they belonged. A voicemail was left with the owner.
At 10:08 a.m. Tuesday, deputies doing a walk through at Bellaire High School on 35th Street in Bellaire took a threat report from a student regarding another student, the report stated.
At 7:08 a.m. Tuesday, a caller from Potts Road in Powhatan Point reported that two suspicious males on motorcycles were seen near his gate. A deputy responded but did not locate the individuals.
At 1:41 a.m. Tuesday, a delivery driver reported that there were two people dumpster diving at Boscov’s on Mall Road in St. Clairsville. A deputy patrolled the area and reported that they were the same two ladies that always dumpster dive around the mall.
