CONNORVILLE — The Foreign Language Club at Buckeye Local High School is going wild about the idea for its latest International Culture Fair. Murder charge among Ohio County grand jury indictments

WHEELING — A Wheeling man has been indicted for murder by an Ohio County grand jury, Ohio County Prosecutor Shawn Turak announced Tuesday, one of 21 people named in 20 grand jury indictments. Dwayne Herring, 54, was also indicted on charges of attempted first degree murder and attempted arson. According to authorities, Herring is accused of murdering his wife Kathleen after her body was found on Wheeling Island. CHARLESTON —With the 2026 legislative session gaveling in at noon today, one of the chairs of a major West Virginia Senate committee is stepping aside, accusing leadership of political pressure.
