BELMONT COUNTY SHERIFF’S DEPARTMENT At 10:57 p.m. Sunday, a caller from an address on Crescent-Barton Road in St. Clairsville reported hearing noises on her roof. A sergeant responded. The officer found tree branches on the roof at multiple points as well as “a wayward opossum” in nearby trash, according to the report. There were no signs of anything else at the residence.
