WOODSFIELD — Two people are dead after a vehicle crashed into a senior living facility in the village on Wednesday.

Woodsfield Fire Chief Mike Young confirmed that two residents of the facility died from injuries sustained when a vehicle stuck the building at Monroe Manor Apartments. Young said first responders were called to the scene Wednesday afternoon and worked to free the victims and provide them with care, but they succumbed to their injuries.
