HELEN HRUSOVSKY

She was born in Benwood, WV, the daughter of the late Louis and Mary (Viskup) Hrusovsky.

Helen was a member of St. John Catholic Church, Catholic Daughters of America, Wheeling Women’s Club, Thursday’s Music Club, Wheeling Hospital Auxiliary, Sisters of St. Joseph Auxiliary, passed commissioner of Benwood Housing and former bookkeeper for St. John’s Church.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her four brothers, Albert Hrusovsky, Edward (Eileen) Hrusovsky, Louis (Hazel) Hrusovsky and Felix (Betty) Hrusovsky; and one nephew, Jerome Hrusovsky.

Helen is survived by nine nieces and nephews, Caroline Hrusovsky, Mary Jo (Alex) Grendel, Kevin (Nancy) Hrusovsky, Mary (Elmer) King, Ursula (Wess) Draper, Paul Hrusovsky, Edward (Patty) Hru, Sandy Hrusovsky and Pete (Candice) Hru; 12 great-nieces and nephews and five great-great-nieces and nephews.

Our family would like to thank those at Good Shepherd, that have cared for our Aunt in her final journey with unconditional love, respect and dignity.

A Mass of Christian burial will be held Monday, November 4, 1 p.m., with Fr. Anthony Arul officiating, at St. John Catholic Church, Benwood. Interment will be held at Mt. Calvary Cemetery.
