GALE LUYSTER
Gale M. Luyster, 88, of St. Clairsville, Ohio passed away on Sunday, September 25, 2022 at his home. He was born July 17, 1934 in Flushing, Ohio, a son of the late Thomas Edwin and Dora Elizabeth Murphy Luyster.
Gale was a retired truck driver and heavy equipment operator for Miller Excavation and a Protestant by faith. He was a member of the Flushing Senior Center.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two infant brothers, Stanley and Dale, another brother, Ray Luyster; a sister, Ada C. Van Fossen.
Surviving are his loving wife, Doris Lechner Luyster; a son, James Edward Luyster; a daughter, Kim (Art) Zalesny all of St. Clairsville; a brother, Paul Luyster of Barnesville, Ohio.
Family and friends will be received on Thursday from 2-4 & 6-8 pm at Toothman Funeral Home, St. Clairsville with funeral services on Friday at 12 pm. with Chaplin Kris Bright officiating. Burial will follow in Holly Memorial Gardens, Pleasant Grove, Ohio.
