CARL BRIGGS

Carl Franklin Briggs of Plano, Texas, passed away peacefully on June 28, 2025, at the age of 81. He was born on December 31, 1943, in Martins Ferry, Ohio, to Carl Briggs and Jacqueline O’Connor. A devoted husband, father, grandfather, and great- grandfather, Carl was known for his quiet strength, sharp wit, and deep love for his family. He spent his life creating lasting memories with those he held dear, always putting family first. Carl is survived by his beloved wife, Alice Briggs of Plano, Texas; daughters Jackie Beckerle of Plano, Texas, and Carla Briggs of Plano, Texas; six grandchildren; and five great-grand- children. He is also survived by his siblings: Francis Snodgrass, Ken Briggs, Tom Briggs, Linda Grossetti, and Ricky Briggs; and a host of other numerous loving family and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents; his daughter, Kimberley Briggs; and his sisters, Caroline Shreve and Karen Briggs. A graveside service will be held at 10:15 a.m., Wednesday, June 9, 2025 at Dallas-Fort Worth National Cemetery, 2000 Mountain Creek Pkwy, Dallas, Texas 75211.
