Ethel “Mrs. O” Schaal 97 of Rayland passed away Wednesday October 2, 2024, at her home surrounded by her loving family. She was born January 8, 1927, in Tiltonsville, a daughter of the late Austin and Sadie (Noll) Erickson. She was a retired School teacher for the Bridgeport School System, and a member of St. Paul’s Evangelical Lutheran Church Brookside. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her son Paul Olzeski, sisters Dorothy Nichols, and Patricia Malcuit, and a brother Richard Erickson.
