Darby Francis Day, Sr., 96, of Jacobsburg, Ohio passed away on Sunday, July 7, 2024 at Country Club Retirement Campus, Bellaire, Ohio. He was born December 5, 1927 in Businessburg, Ohio a son of the late Wilber Day and Ina Leona Finnicum Day Wood. Darby was well known in Mead Township area. He started working in 1948 for the Mead Township Road Crew as a equipment operator for many years until his retirement in 1982 and was the last of the old crew.
