Letha May Penyak, 80, of Powhatan Point, OH., passed away on Monday, April 15, 2024 at her home. She was born April 1, 1944 in Asco, WV., a daughter of the late Alva J. and Emma Mitchell Call, Sr. Letha was a homemaker and enjoyed Antique Dealing. She was a Protestant by faith. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a sister, Martha A. Saffell; seven brothers, Alva J. He was born in Crescent, OH on January 29, 1935, the son of the late Joseph and Sophia (Lumpcik) Baran. He was a retired machinist at the former Wheeling-Pittsburgh Steel, Mingo Junction plant, but farming was his passion. Frank Eugene Vigoffi Jr., 74, of Flushing, Ohio, died April 14, 2024, in Wheeling Hospital. He was born November 25, 1949, in Martins Ferry, Ohio, a son of the late Frank E. Vigoffi Sr. and Rose Styrcula Vigoffi. Frank was a retired owner and operator truck driver. He was a member of the former St. Joseph’s Catholic Church in Fairpoint, a 1967 graduate of St. Clairsville High School, Frank served in the U.S. Navy during the Vietnam War.
