Evelyn D. Miller 96, of St. Clairsville formerly of Colerain, passed away Tuesday March 5, 2024, at Forest Hill Retirement Center St. Clairsville. She was born August 26, 1927, in Martins Ferry, a daughter of the late Pete and Justina (Lander) Kain. Evelyn was a lifelong member of St. Paul Evangelical Lutheran Church, the W.E.L.C.A., the Lutheran Women’s League, Past Matron of the OES #452, a Choir Member and Sunday School Teacher of the Church, also the Auxiliary of the VFW, and a graduate of Bridgeport High School class of 1944. He was born August 14, 1949, in Bellaire, Ohio, a son of the late Vera May Bumgardner Brocklehurst and John Arthur “Jack” Brocklehurst Sr. Roger was a retired coal miner and former employee of the R.E.
