(Soup) Robson, age 97, of Shadyside, Ohio, passed away on Thursday, February 1, 2024, at Ruby Memorial Hospital in Morgantown, West Virginia, with his son, Mark, daughter, Dana, and granddaughter, Bethany, by his side. Born on May 7, 1926, in Bellaire, Ohio, Don was the son of the late John and Pearl (Haddix) Robson and was a Protestant by faith. Don’s life was marked by extraordinary service to his country. Daniel Joseph “Danny” Sweetnich, 93, of Massillon, Ohio, died February 2, 2024, at Mercy Hospital in Canton, Ohio. He was born January 11, 1931, in Powhatan Point, Ohio, son of the late Joseph and Barbara Priester Sweetnich. Danny was a retired payroll clerk from Republic Steel. He was a U.S. Navy veteran of the Korean War and a member of the Massillon American Legion.
