She was born March 30, 1959, in Steubenville, OH, to the late Oma and Lucille (Carpenter) Summers. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by several brothers and sisters. Peter D. Sgalla III, 64, of Rayland, OH, passed away, Friday, December 29, 2023, at his home. He was born December 20, 1959, to the late Peter and Celeste Sgalla. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by four uncles, Joseph, Andrew, Reno and Gino Sgalla and three aunts, Zira, Zara and Marion Sgalla. He was born March 18, 1938, in St. Clairsville, Ohio a son of the late Harold Duane Cope and Eleanor Neff Cope Belt. Richard was a retired Master Sergeant in the United States Air Force.
