L. Joan (Haight) Ferguson, 95, of Mount Vernon, Ohio, formerly of Barnesville went home to be with the LORD on Wednesday, January 3, 2024. She was born on September 2, 1928, in Cattaraugus, New York. Joan graduated from Harvey High School in Painesville, Ohio, in 1947. She then graduated from nursing school at Ohio Valley Hospital in Steubenville, Ohio. She had a very successful career as nurse and nursing supervisor at Barnesville Hospital where she retired in 1993.
