Helen Virchie Rutan, 91, of Harrisville, Ohio passed away peacefully Saturday, January 24, 2025, at Trinity Medical Center surrounded by her family. She was born March 8, 1934, in Moundsville, WV, the only child of Lester J. and Mary Miller Cain. She graduated from Moundsville High School and soon married her high school sweetheart, Martin G. Rutan on October 10, 1953. They were married for 62 years until Martin’s passing in 2015. Helen was a member of the Harrisville Methodist Church.
