Elaine Hunter, 92, formerly of Bridgeport and St. Clairsville died February 27, 2026, at Ridgecrest of McCandless – Reflections Memory Care, Pittsburgh. She was born October 29, 1933, in Martins Ferry, Ohio, the daughter of the late John E. Armbruster and Freida (Woods) Armbruster. Elaine was the private secretary to the President of Instruction at Rockingham Community College in North Carolina for many years.
