Mildred (Mikesinovich) Mamula, 99 passed away at Astoria Place in Barnesville, OH. She was born January 31, 1923, in Dilles Bottom, OH a daughter of the late Mike and Bertha (Visnic) Mikesinovich. She was a member of the Serbian Orthodox Church of Steubenville, OH. She probably would not have lived so long if it were not for her membership in the Martins Ferry Senior Center. Mildred so enjoyed going there. She lived through the great depression and WWII in the Mansfield Defense Factory Welding Pontoon. From there she went to Dravo Neville Island and welded in the shipyard. ...

Carole S. Busby, 63, of Colerain, OH residing in Triadelphia, WV, passed away November 18, 2022 at Wheeling Hospital after battling ovarian cancer since 2018. The daughter of coach Robert C. “Bob” Smith and Greta (McCartney) Smith, Carole was born December 24, 1958 in Clermont County, Ohio and graduated from Martins Ferry High School in 1977. William Kenneth “Old Man” Pedelose, 82 of Bellaire, OH passed away Friday, November 18, 2022 at the Country Club Rehabilitation Campus in Bellaire. He was born December 15, 1939 in Bellaire, OH the son of the late Victor and Thelma Yannacci Pedelose. William was a retired truck driver and a member of the Bellaire VFW Post 626 and the Sons of Italy in Bellaire. He was born in Freeport, IL on September 19, 1946, a son of the late William and Cecilia (Engle) Lieser.
