Robert Lee Visnic Sr., 87, of St. Clairsville, Ohio died Tuesday, October 18, 2022, in Liza’s Place, Wheeling, West Virginia. He was born December 8, 1934, in Dilles Bottom, Ohio, a son of the late Michael P. Visnic and Mary A. Whitlatch Visnic. He was a retired transportation manager for Ohio Valley Coal Company, a United States Marine Corps Veteran, a member of Belmont Lodge #16 F.&A.M. in St. Clairsville and he enjoyed stockcar racing. Cynthia Lynn Simpson, 69 of Martins Ferry passed away peacefully with her family by her side on Monday, October 17, 2022, at Liza’s Place in Wheeling, WV. She was born July 9, 1953, the daughter of Jennie (Josefczyk) Hritz and the late Edward Hritz. She was a 1971 graduate of St. John Central High School in Bellaire and a 1973 graduate of Jefferson Technical Institute as a Dental Assistant. She was born July 5, 1930 in Detroit, Michigan a daughter of the late William R. and Elsie Fulcomer Reed. Mildred was a graduate of Grant Hospital School of Nursing. She retired as a Registered Nurse after working many years at Alvis House in Columbus, Ohio. He was born February 25, 1966 in Wheeling, WV., a son of the late Stanley an Kathryn Makofsky Kozlowski. He graduated in 1984 from St. Clairsville High School where he played varsity football.
