Clara Snyder, 98, of Wellsville, OH, passed away, Thursday, October 13, 2022, at East Liver Pool City Hospital. She was born on September 23, 1924, in Hocking, OH, to the late Richard and Anna (Marks) Smith. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Fuller Snyder; six brothers, Frank, Hardy, Calvin, Albert, Richard and Jesse Smith and three sisters, Anna Smith, Josephine Catlin and Minnie McLaughlin. Jean Griffith Thompson went to be with the Lord on October 19, 2022. Jean was born at home May 4, 1928 to dairy farmers, Donley and Ferne Reppart Griffith. Jean loved and graduated from Mt. Pleasant High school in 1946. She sometimes rode her horse, Blondie, into town for many after school activities. She met her husband, Tom, (Paul Thompson Jr.) at the corner of Rt. 150 and 250 at Lightning Peltz’s as she was walking home after work. Jolene Ann (Paolucci) Hodorowski, 80, of Bellaire Ohio died October 10, 2022 at Ohio State Ross Heart Hospital in Columbus Ohio. She was born December 5, 1941 in Bellaire, Ohio, the daughter of the late Henry and Mildred ‘Millie’ Patrone Paolucci. Jolene was a retired High School math teacher from Martins Ferry City School after 25 years of teaching. She also taught for 13 years at St. John Central High School.
