Dear Editor

I am writing to express my support for Lou Gentile, candidate for State Representative in the 95th House District. I have known Lou for nearly a decade now and I know him to be an honest, dedicated and hard working public servant. I first came to know Lou when he worked for our then Congressman Ted Strickland.

Lou then went on to serve as the Assistant Director in the Governor’s Office of Appalachia, a post he has held for the last three years. It was in that role where I really watched Lou develop into an effective state leader. Lou’s experience in the Office of Appalachia gave him a firsthand look at the challenges facing Eastern Ohio. Lou has been successful at bringing funding to our area for water and sewer projects, Route 149 in Bellaire and workforce training programs which have helped make our workers more competitive. Lou understands that we have the hardest working and most skilled workforce in the state and I know he is committed to leading the fight for economic growth and development. Now more than ever our region is in need of hard working, trustworthy and effective leadership. I know we can count on Lou Gentile to get the job done
