I would like to thank everyone in The Ohio Valley who helped make the second annual, “Walk Across America to Conquer Chiari,” a huge success. Without all the local business’s and communities support we would not have been able to have such a successful walk this year. Its amazing at the amount of support we received. We had more than 150 plus people in attendance this year, compared to 2009, we had only 75-80 people in attendance. We were able to raise close to $9,000.?Our goal was $10,000. All proceeds that are raised go to a nonprofit organization Conquer Chiari out of Wexford, Pa. These proceeds are used to help find a cure for Chiari, currently there is research being done at Akron University.

Once again I would like to express our family’s gratitude to everyone that played a part in making this a great event, because without any of you it would not have been possible.
