Dear Editor,

The most powerful and effective speaker at the political conventions was Abby Johnson of Texas.

She was once a clinic manager for Planned Parenthood but has now become an anti-abortion activist.

She described what changed her beliefs about abortion.

She witnessed an actual abortion and watched the baby in the womb struggle to avoid the abortion techniques and then as the doctor used suction to remove the baby from the womb, he shouted, “Beam me up, Scottie.”

That was enough for her … and for me.

As a Christian, I will never support a political party whose platform includes unlimited, anytime abortions and I will never vote for a candidate whose church has denied him access to communion because of his pro-abortion beliefs.
